Located at the back of Heaton's School, leaders and teaching staff at the school have developed a fantastic area in which to run forest school sessions from for the school. We are lucky enough to now lease the land from the school, it is a long rectangular shaped site with a number of trees and shrubs. There are some spaces for hammocks, tyre swings and other swings that we erect. Mud kitchen, a giant sandpit, a tool space area, obstacle course and cosy basecamp area with a raised fire pit.

Currently we are leasing the land at weekends for birthday parties and weekend family forest school, however we have an OFSTED application in process to begin holiday clubs here and potentially after school club too. 

The site is beautifully diverse with some fascinating trees and areas, it is also wheelchair user accessible due to the needs of the children within the school and has marked paths throughout.
